Steve Ginsberg is in his 9th year as the Director of EMSC. He has been involved with soccer, as a player and a coach, in the Greater Boston area for over twenty years. Ginsberg is currently the boys’ varsity coach at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham. During his six years as the coach of the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams, he has a combined record of 99-19-14. His teams have won four Independent School League Titles and a New England Class A Championship. Ginsberg has also coached the men’s teams at Hobart College and the Northfield Mount Hermon School.
After captaining the team at Needham High School, Ginsberg went on to play four years at Williams College, where he served as a captain in 1994. During his time at Williams, the Ephs advanced to the NCAA National Championship game and were ranked number one in the country. Ginsberg holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer coaches of America and a Masters in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
